Hidden In You

Lord, when I feel like this, You say that I can be hidden in You.

Lord, when I just want to crawl up in a ball and build a wall, then I recognise I can.

I can surround myself with the wall of Your love, and just be hidden in You.

I can rest my weary head on my knees as I lean into Your embrace

and just be hidden in You.

Lord, in Your presence, is not just joy, but peace.

The peace of quiet and stillness and wholeness,

where I don’t need to do or even be

for I simply am hidden in Thee.
